Soopa Doopa

Gary Clarke made this Freedom of Information request to Electoral Commission

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Electoral Commission did not have the information requested.

Dear Electoral Commission,

In relation to the EU referendum I was hoping you could provide a delivery address(es) for materials purchased under each invoice from Soopa Doopa Branding Limited.

It appears delivery addresses are omitted from the invoices that appear and I find it odd that additional distribution spend was not required by campaign groups.

Yours faithfully,

Gary Clarke

FOI, Electoral Commission

Dear Mr Clarke,

Our Ref: FOI 047/18

Thank you for your email to the Electoral Commission dated 19 March 2018.

The Commission aims to respond to requests for information promptly and
has done so within the statutory timeframe of twenty working days.

Your request is in bold below:

In relation to the EU referendum I was hoping you could provide a delivery
address(es) for materials purchased under each invoice from Soopa Doopa
Branding Limited.

It appears delivery addresses are omitted from the invoices that appear
and I find it odd that additional distribution spend was not required by
campaign groups.

You also clarified your request with the below:

Just to reduce the scope of this request. There is no need to provide
details for invoices submitted by Vote Leave as they include fulfilment,
distribution and carriage.

Our response is as follows:

We do not hold the information you have requested.

We have examined six invoices relating to Soopa Doopa Branding Limited,
excluding invoices to Vote Leave following your clarification of your
request. Three invoices related to Leave.EU, one to the DUP, one to GO
Movement Ltd, and one to UKIP.

In each case no delivery address is provided. The only address on the
invoices other than that of Soopa Doopa itself is the headquarters of the
organisation to whom the invoice was addressed. It may be that was the
delivery address, or that delivery addresses were arranged separately.
There is no requirement for invoices to include a delivery address for the
purposes of PPERA and the Commission has not redacted any delivery
address. Therefore we do not hold any information relating to your
request.

I trust that this information satisfies your request. The Commission
strives to be an open, transparent authority.

If you are not satisfied with this response, please note that the
Commission operates a review procedure, details of which can be found on
the Commission website at:
[1]http://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/ab...

Please also note that if you have exhausted all internal Commission review
procedures and you are still not satisfied you have the right to appeal to
the Information Commissioner. Details of this procedure can be found on
the ICO website: [2]https://ico.org.uk/
