Solicitor Mark Hodge, 56, struck off for 'raping and sexually assaulting' teenage girl

The request was successful.

Dear Solicitors Regulation Authority,

From the Mail:

'A solicitor who was jailed for raping and sexually assaulting a girl after her 18th birthday party has been struck off.

Mark Hodge attacked the 'vulnerable' teenager five times in one evening while she was drunk and 'unable to defend herself'.

I have checked your website ('Recent cases') but can find nothing for Hodge:

https://www.sra.org.uk/consumers/solicit...

1. Please send me a copy of the decision relating to Hodge.

The story mentions that 'Hodge, who maintains he is innocent, plans to appeal'.

2. Who hears appeals concerning solicitors who have been struck off?

3. Of the five most recent cases concerning concluded appeals from solicitors who were struck off following decisions of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, please provide (i) the date each was struck off, (ii) the date each appeal concluded and (iii) the outcome of each appeal.

Yours faithfully,

J Roberts
