Dear Royal Armouries,

Q2. How much did you pay in last financial year for software licenses?
Q3. How many computers users do you have?
Q4. When do you need to renew the contract with Microsoft for software licenses? What was the value of your last contract per year?
Q5. Do you currently measure software usage versus the number of licenses purchased? If so what is used for software usage metering?
Q6. Do you use a software asset management tool?

We monitor usage manually.

Q6. Do you use a software asset management tool?
We are installing a management tool, Front Range, to help us monitor licenses and usage

Q7. Please also provide details of IT Contracts Managers and any person(s) involved in IT Software procurement.
It is not the policy of the Museum under S40 (Personal Information) of the FOI Act not to give out contact details for those staff working in back room operations as this may result in an increase in the number of calls/emailed received from companies wishing to sell their services, which will prevent more important work from being carried out.

I hope these answers are satisfactory. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me. If you wish to appeal against the exemption of information in Q7 please contact [email address] and copy me in.

Thank you
