I acknowledge receipt of your request for information received on 19^th

In accordance with the Act, this email acts as a Refusal Notice and
details of the exemption applied is as follows:

S43 – Commercial Interests

Reason for applying the exemption

43(2) The Council are about to re-tender for the contract and as such to
release the requested information would undermine the tender process.

 

Public Interest Test

Given the Council is about to re-tender for this contract, to release the
requested information would undermine the process and would give
competitors an unfair advantage. On balance the public interest weighs in
favour of the exemption.

 

I apologise that your request cannot be met on this occasion.
