Where you do not operate an adult social care board I would like for the above questions to be applied to the senior management team that delivers adult social care functions and report to the Director of Social Service (DASS) or whoever fulfills this statutory role (if defined by a different name in your authority).

The number of Adult Social Care The Adult Social Care Leadership
(Social Services) Board Members Team, chaired by the Director of
Adult Social Services (DASS), fulfils
the function of an Adult Social Care
Board as described.

 

There are 5 members of the Adult
Social Care Leadership Team – the
DASS and four service directors.

 
The number that has a social work 2 Adult Social Care Leadership Team
qualification and are currently members have a social work
registered with the HCPC qualification.

 

3 Adult Social Care Leadership Team
members are currently registered with
the HCPC.

 
Whether the Director of Adult Social The DASS does not have a social work
Services has a social work qualification, nor is registered with
qualification and is currently the HCPC.

Is The Principal Social Worker a The Principal Social Worker (PSW) is
board member not a member of the Adult Social Care
Leadership Team, however the PSW (and
others) attend as necessary.

individual basis with the DASS and

The gender split of the Adult Social The gender split of the Adult Social
Care (Social Services) Board Care Leadership Team is one man and
four women.
 
The ethnicity split as defined by UK We can confirm that the County
Census categories of the Adult Council holds this information.
Social Care (Social Services) Board. However, as this constitutes
(sensitive) personal data, we cannot
disclose the ethnicity split of the
Adult Social Care Board. This is
because alongside other information
already available, it would be
possible for identification of these
individuals and their ethnicity to
occur (the individuals concerned are
part of a small population and would
be identifiable). Personal
information is exempt from disclosure
under S.40(2) of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.
