Could you please tell me the number of people you have provided social mobility grants to through right to buy scheme, and can you specify the amount for the grants.

Just to clarify the social mobility grant is the money that some local authorities have sourced for residents who have gone on to by a property on the open market, a scheme separate to the right to buy your own council home.

We are processing your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Act defines a limited set of exemptions from the right to know. If we decide to withhold information we will tell you why, will state which exemption we are relying on and will explain how you can appeal.
