Social media, student consent and monitoring

This freedom of information request is regarding the academy use of social media, monitoring of students private social media accounts and, etc. Find below the list of questions.

Academy use of social media and students consent of photograph or video

1. Do you get the student(s) consent before taking a photograph or video of them?
2. Do you get the student(s) consent before posting the photograph or video on social media?
3. Are the student(s) allowed to request their photograph or video to be removed from social media?

Academy social media monitoring of students private accounts

1. Does the academy actively search for private social media accounts of students (either with the use of software or by typing the student name into the social media site)?
2. Does the academy compel student(s) to delete content from their private social media accounts?
3. Does the academy have any policies in place that allows the academy to search for private social media of students? If yes, is the policy made clear to the students, parents, etc?
