Thank you for your request for information which was received by the Trust
on , 2017.  I have listed your questions below together with our
responses.
 

1. Please provide me with a copy of your Trust's Social Media Governance
Policy (for employees), or equivalent, and the date it was adopted. – The
Trust’s social media policy (attached) was adopted in March 2014 and
continues to be in use.  It is to be refreshed this year as part of a
single communications policy.

 

2. Please list the Social Media programmes used by your Trust (i.e. if you
use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. ... I do not need individual account
details).

 

– The Trust currently has two corporate Twitter accounts (@CroydonHealth
and @CroydonLiA)

 

In addition, the Trust has the following corporate accounts:

 

Facebook (Croydonhealthservices)

 

LinkedIn (Croydon Health Services NHS Trust)

 

YouTube (Croydonhealth)

 

Instagram (croydonhealthservices

 

3. Please detail training offered to staff on the use of social media.

 

Our Communications Department provides advice and support for staff using
social media in a work capacity.  For example, the Trust’s Children’s
Hospital at Home team (on Twitter @CHAHCommunity) and Croydon
Breastfeeding Support (on Facebook @CroydonBreastFeedingSupport).

 

4. Please state how many people in your Trust have been disciplined as a
result of social media behaviour, for the calendar years 2012-2016 - 2
instances over the specified period, both occurring in 2012.

 

5. Please provide the approximate number of people (headcount) employed by
your Trust. -

 

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust employs around 3,800 staff (2016/17)
