Social Housing In Denbighshire

Thank you for your recent request for information held by Denbighshire
County Council received 20/11/2023 regarding social housing by area/
waiting time by area.

As set out by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 it will be our aim to
respond to your request by 18/12/2023. In some cases, however, we may be
unable to achieve this deadline. If this occurs, we will advise you of the
likely timescale within which the response will be provided.

Under the Freedom of Information Act the Council may charge for
disbursement costs (e.g. photocopies, postage). However, should there be
any such costs, you will be notified of this prior to the commencement of
any work.

20/11/2023 concerning Social housing by area/ waiting time by area. Please
see below:

1. Can you please give me a list of all the social housing that
Denbighshire Council has in its estate by Area
Please see attached spreadsheet. This covers Denbighshire stock only.

a) can you please advise whether property is reserved for certain Band of
Housing requirements.
No, properties are not reserved for certain band of housing requirements.

2. Can you further break down what is the current waiting time for
applicants to be allocated a property in each area –
Please see attached document for the average waiting times for
2022/23. Please be advised SARTH allocations are based on highest band and
then longest waiting,  and this report only reflects areas where
properties became available in that year, and is averaged, so not
reflective of individual waiting times per area/band. Individual needs are
taken into consideration along with many other factors.
