Dear WWW: FOI,

Can I just clarify the answer to question 5. Is this 11992 days or is this a typing error? This would be a wait time since 1990?

Yours sincerely,

Gwen Jones

WWW: FOI, Caerphilly County Borough Council

Dear Gwen Jones

Thank-you for your email received on 25th July.

We confirm the figure recorded on our system is 11,992 days.

Please note we are unable to verify the accuracy of this wait time as we no longer hold the date of application or any historic refusals of housing offers due to a change of software solutions.

However, if this date is correct, possible reasons for an extended wait time could be that (a) an application was suspended for some years yet they remained on the housing list, and/ or that (b) an applicant may be very specific about the areas and property type which is limited in some areas.

If you have any queries or concerns or are in any way dissatisfied with the handling of your request, please contact us.

Yours sincerely
