Dear Sayed Khan,
The answer to my question is so long overdue.
The question was
"Can you tell me the percentage of social housing that has been
built in the last 5 years for local residents compared to private
housing"
I seem to remember that Rabina Khan was in charge of housing. Perhaps Rabina has an answer to my question. If so can you possibly ask her.
Yours sincerely,
ana
Sorry, the response seems to have gone astray, copy below.
Dear Sir/Madam
Your request for information has been considered under the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please see below.
FOI 13032 social/private housing
Request
Can you tell me the percentage of social housing that has been built in
the last 5 years for local residents compared to private housing.
Response
There is not an official record from Council data to show the percentage
of new affordable homes compared to homes for private sale. The Council
is required to collect and report on information regarding how we are
meeting the regional housing targets as set in the London Plan. The
Council’s performance in this regard can be found in the Annual Monitoring
Reports which can be accessed from the Tower Hamlets website at this
location:

Dear Sayed Khan,
I believe at council meetings the information given breaks down into 3 categories.
Private,
Affordable and
Social housing.
Can you please give me the % of social housing compared to private and affordable housing.

The question was about "Social housing" but the answer here is about "Affordable housing". Unfortunately the reports linked from the answer only talk about "Social/affordable housing" - they don't separate those categories.
