Response: The Council can confirm there were 617 individual permanent and
fixed term employees worked for the Council for one or more periods of
time during 2018/19. This is employees with position titles of Social
Worker, Practice Supervisor and Independent Reviewing Officer. This does
not include managers.  Children’s Social services had 389 and Adult Social
Care ad 235 (NB 7 individuals had a post in one Dept then got a new job in
the other Dept within the period, so are counted in both Depts when the
figures are broken down).

had 223 (NB 5 individuals had a post in one Dept then got a new job in the
other Dept within the period, so are counted in both Depts when the
figures are broken down).

Care had 40 (NB 2 individuals were engaged in one Dept then were
subsequently placed the other Dept within the period, so are counted in
both Depts when the figures are broken down).

specifically:
