Social Care Services – Domiciliary Care Delivery/Capacity

The request was successful.

Dear Powys County Council,

Question A: Currently PCC SCS provides Assessed Needs to a number of people in Powys via Contracts with registered Domiciliary Care Providers. The sum total of this Care is recorded in hours purchased and delivered to the clients assessed needs.

I do not require any hours funded via Direct Payments to be included in this request.

My request for data can be based on your ‘best opportunity’ to provide the data in a manner that it is easily extracted from your own recorded monitoring. An example might be that your current data is provided as the last full month/quarter/year of data your system is showing.

Question B: Average Number of Registered Domiciliary Care Providers including SCS own Providers during the period covering hours data supplied.

Question C: Number of Hours ‘Care’ delivered by SCS own Registered Domiciliary Care Provider.

Question D: Please breakdown hours in question C to show Reablement and ‘normal’ Domiciliary Hours (these hours service would be the same as those delivered by Registered Providers)

For the purpose of clarification Re-ablement is time limited and funded from other sources.

Question E: Please provide source of income stream of the Reablement Service Hours being delivered.

Yours faithfully,

Chris Hudson
