Social care for profoundly Deaf children
Dear Sir or Madam,
What service provision did this social services offer profoundly Deaf children from 2003 to April 2009. Could you also list how many profoundly Deaf children you are currently providing service.
By provision I mean activities and advice/guidance that could aid the child's social, emotional, cultural and linguistic needs; or support for the family/carer.
By Profoundly Deaf I mean those so Deaf that they use sign language to communicate.
Yours faithfully,
S Thom

- Social care for profoundly Deaf
children
Dear Sir or Madam,
Please keep me informed
Yours sincerely,
S Thom
Dear Sir
Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding. Services for
profoundly deaf children are provided by Birmingham Institute for the Deaf
under a service level agreement between Birmingham City Council & BID to
deliver this support. We are liaising with BID to ask if they have records
of the number of children that they are supporting or provide information
to but still have not received a response.
As you can see Birmingham City Council does not hold data to answer your
question directly but are trying to locate this from a third party. Should
any information be forthcoming I will forward it to you.
Yours sincerely,
Steve Cullen
