Social care for disabled children

Dear Lincolnshire County Council,

1. Please provide information on the number of disabled children in your area who were assessed for services under the Chronically Sick and Disabled Act 1970, the Children’s Act 1989 and the ‘duty to provide breaks from caring for disabled children’ under the Children and Young Person’s Act 2008 accessed targeted and specialist services in each of the following years: 2012/13, 2013/14 and 2014/15
2. Please provide information on the number of these children for whom services were provided following assessment in each of the following years: 2012/13, 2013/14 and 2014/15
3. Please provide information on any eligibility criteria you apply to determine access to services for disabled children under the Chronically Sick and Disabled Act 1970, the Children’s Act 1989 and the ‘duty to provide breaks from caring for disabled children’ under the Children and Young Person’s Act 2008
4. Please provide information on any changes to this criteria which you have made in each of the following years: 2012/13, 2013/14 and 2014/15?
5. Please provide information on the total budget for services provided to disabled children under the Chronically Sick and Disabled Act 1970, the Children’s Act 1989 and the ‘duty to provide breaks from caring for disabled children’ under the Children and Young Person’s Act 2008 in each of the following years: 2012/13, 2013/14 and 2014/15?

Subject: Clarification required regarding your freedom of information
request

 

I am writing regarding your information request which was received on
22^nd May 2014. In that request you asked Lincolnshire County Council for
information regarding Social Care for Disabled Children. 

 

The Adults and Children’s Services Directorate requires further
clarification from you to help identify and accurately locate the
requested information. Consequently, I will not be able to take this
matter any further without the extra information from you. In particular
it would be useful to know in reference to Q1 if you want us to provide
the number of children assessed or those who accessed services after
assessment.

 

Your request is now on hold. The 20 working days allowed for us to respond
to the request will resume from the date we receive further clarification
from you. Unless we receive additional clarification from you within three
