Dear Ms Pullar,

I am writing to you with an update on the progress of your Freedom of
Information request which is being dealt with under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.

We are still dealing with your request and I note that we are now overdue
with our response.

In an organisation as large and diverse as a County Council, we often have
to seek information from a wide range of sources when responding to
requests under the Freedom of Information Act and occasionally the amount
of work involved with the request is greater than we anticipate at first.

As a result, I am not able to provide you with the information you are
seeking within the 20 working day timescale that is stated in the Act.  I
am hoping to get this information to you as soon as possible.  I apologise
for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns or would
like to discuss the content and progress of your Freedom of Information
request with me.

Yours sincerely
