and Children's Services Digital. 
 
Right of Access 
 
Section 1(1) of the Act provides any person making a request for
information to a public authority is entitled. 
 
(a) to be informed in writing by the public authority whether it holds
information of the description specified in the request (which Section
1(6) of the Act designates as the "duty to confirm or deny"), and 
 
(b) if that is the case, to have that information communicated to him.

document or record which contains it. 
 
The Act creates a general right of access to information held by public
authorities subject to various exemptions.

A.1 IDOX , Colleagues in the School Admissions Team 

The Local Offer information is hosted within our corporate website at
https://www.northumberland.gov.uk/localo... and is updated by our
Communications team in co-ordination with service experts on each subject
within. The Family Information Services are also on the same site: Family
Services Directory | Adult Social Care Services (fsd.org.uk) 

  

Q.2      Who currently supplies your Adult Social Care Directory website
and who is responsible for this? 

A.2     We do not currently have an adult social care directory website. 

At the time of the enquiry the information is held in Northumberland Life
- https://www.northumberlandlife.org/ - we expect it will be moved into
the new North East Frontline portal layer this year - our Public Health
team will maintain the information. 

 

Q.3      What platform or system do you use for Education services,
including admissions? 

A.3 We currently use Capita and EMS. 

  

Q.4      What system or platform do you currently use to facilitate the
EHC assessment, planning and review process and who is the main contact
for this area? 

A.4 No digital platform currently being used 

  

Q.4a      Do you currently offer “portal” functionality for families and
or other professionals? Including the ability to view or submit
information online 

A.4a Yes, we offer this in Children’s education, but it is not currently
offered in children's safeguarding. 

  

Q.5      What Case Management system do you use in Adults Services? 

A.5     We currently use Swift. 

 

Q.6      What Case Management system do you use in Children’s Services? 

A.6 We currently use Liquid Logic.
