SNH Funding viewing of Pornography by Aberdeenshire Council

The request was successful.

Dear Scottish Natural Heritage,

Can I have a copy of all communications relating to my complaint about the misuse of public funds by SNH into funding Aberdeenshire Council and viewing of pornography. I am particularly interested in your efforts to discuss the evidence I had offered and why you did not discuss or request this as part of an investigation as would be the case in the course of even the most basic of investigations. It seems far from 'full' or 'thorough' if you choose to deliberately avoid gathering evidence of misuse of public funding by SNH which of course is the case here. Let me make it clear, I offered you evidence of misuse of public funding by SNH and you have refused to request this evidence from me. This is evidence that shows that SNH funding is being, or has been, used to view pornography. If you wish to chase this up with Aberdeenshire Council as any responsible organisation would do, then by all means go ahead. But my complaint is about the misuse, by SNH, of public funds and I have evidence to prove this funding is being used to view pornography. Are you saying that it's okay to view pornography with SNH money because that's certainly the impression you're giving with your responses?

Can you also explain to me the difference between a 'full and thorough' investigation and an investigation?

Yours faithfully,

Iain Lawrie

SNH are aware that gross misconduct did take place - the following response was received by SNH which demonstrates that Aberdeenshire Council are determined to cover up this sad state of affairs...

Hello Iain

Just to say, I spoke to xxxxx xxxxxxx about the issue you raised with me and referred specifically to the Council policies. As you indicated before, xxxxx gave assurances that this would not be happening again.

Thanks for your help on this.

here's another snippet requesting that I remove evidence of wrongdoing -

... go through the network drives to remove anything which may cause offence. Is this easy to do ? Is there still a trail ?

Thanks
