Snagged cable reporting
Dear Maritime and Coastguard Agency,
I would like to view records of how many times vessels contacted the Coastguard to notify them that they have snagged a submarine cable (eg telecommunications cable or power cable) from the start of 2020 through to the date this request if completed.
For each incident, I'd like to know:
- The name of the vessel that called the Coastguard
- The date of the incident
- Any details stored about what happened
- The cable owner who was subsequently contacted about the incident
If you are unable to deliver all of these details, then please deliver the information that you are able to share.
