Thank you for your request for information, which was received by
Manchester City Council on 2 April 2012 and has been considered under the
provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Unfortunately your
original request was missed so please accept my apology for the delay in
responding.

You have requested the following information:

1. The number of skip permit fees issued by the Council and revenue
derived for the last 6 financial years (broken down by month)
2. The number of retrospective skip permit fees issued by the Council and
revenue derived for the past 6 financial years (broken down by month)
3. The number of non-permitted skips removed by the Council and revenue
derived for the past 6 years (broken down by month)

Unfortunately, the information you have requested is not held by Manchester
City Council in the detail that you require. In response to your request,
I can confirm that the Council holds the information relating to the total
number of skip permits issued between 2008 and 2012 and the total revenue
derived. We are not able to identify the number of retrospective skip
permits issued or the number of non-permitted skips removed by the Council.

I have summarised the information held by the Council which relates to the
total number of skip permits issued for each year specified:
