Site Licences Issued for Traveller Sites

The request was successful.

Dear Belfast City Council,

I am conducting some research into the progress of the recommendations made by NIHRC in their report "Out of Site, Out of Mind" March 2018.

Please can you confirm the name, address and type of all of traveller sites in your Council area. (eg transit site, halting site, grouped housing, serviced site).

Please can you confirm for each site whether it holds a current site licence.

Please can you confirm the number of licence applications received for each site since March 2018.

Please can you confirm the number of licence applications approved by site since March 2018.

Please can you confirm if Council refused any licence applications for each site and the reason for refusal since March 2018.

Please can you confirm if any traveller sites in your Council area have had their licences revoked, the name of the site and how long the site has been operating without licence.

Please can you advise if any sites have been closed in your area since 2018, the name of the site(s) and the date and duration of the closure.

Please can you confirm if you have had any illegal traveller encampments on public land since March 2018.

Many thanks.
