Single claimers on UC or JSA must prove they are looking for work more than 35 hours in a benefit week?

We're waiting for Ian Wolf to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please share the information you have got about single claimers under 25 year olds or any one else on JSA or UC, can be required to spend more than 35 hours per week searching and preparing for work as a mandatory sanction condition of JSA or UC. Together with your claimant commitment (CC) information on how a cc should record the hours a claimant has to spend per week searching and preparing for work.

Yours faithfully,
Ian Wolf
