Singing in Churches with easing of lock down for Church services

Akinola Akinyede made this Freedom of Information request to Church Commissioners
This authority is not subject to FOI law, so is not legally obliged to respond (details).
This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

Response to this request is long overdue. Although not legally required to do so, we would have expected Church Commissioners to have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Akinola Akinyede

Dear Church Commissioners,
I would appreciate if you can clarify if singing is allowed in churches from July 4. Can the choir sing during church service from July 4? Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Akinola Akinyede

Commissioners Enquiry, Church Commissioners

Dear Akinola Akinyede,

Thank you for your email via the whatdotheyknow website, purporting to be a Freedom of Information request. The Church Commissioners are not subject to FOI so I cannot reply directly to that email and give the impression that they are. However, if you would please let me have your email address I will ask a colleague to respond to you directly with guidance on church re-opening.

I hope this is helpful,

Best wishes
