Since SNP took control of Scotland May 2007, Working age males in Employment, -4,000 fewer in Scotland, +1,061,000 additional in England, +29,000 additional in Wales, +17,000 additional in N Ireland.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Scottish Government,

According to Employment statistics

HI00 Regional labour market: Headline Labour Force Survey indicators for all regions (21 Jan 2020)
https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabo...

It appears to show that in the month before (Apr 2007) SNP took control of Scotland and up-to the latest employment statistics (21 Jan 2020):

Scotland has -4,000 fewer working age males in employment.

England has +1,061,000 additional working age males in employment.
Wales has +29,000 additional working age males in employment.
N Ireland has +17,000 additional working age males in employment.

Has the SNP government any alternative figures to dispute the above figures?

If correct what additional powers over and above England, Wales and N Ireland are needed to be able to rectify this appalling employment statistic?

Yours faithfully,

Manfred Stobartson
