Freedom of Information, Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council

Dear Mr Woods,

Freedom of Information request F2017-09-3939

We have looked into your request for information about SIA Licence numbers for Security employed by Knowsley Council 27 June 2017.

The information is exempt under section 14(2) dealing with repeat requests. The reasons why the exemption applies is that the request is very similar to that made on 14 September by you when you requested similar details and that you received a response the same day stating that we don’t hold the information, and a further response on 20 September confirming again that the information was not held and that a reasonable interval has not elapsed between the new request and compliance with the previous request.

I am required under the provisions of the Act to advise you of the Council’s complaints procedure, details of which can be found on the Council’s website at:
https://secured.knowsley.gov.uk/Document...

Should you make a complaint under this procedure but remain dissatisfied, I am also required to inform you that you can appeal against the decision by contacting the Information Commissioner. The Commissioner’s postal address is Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow SK9 5AF. The telephone number for the Information Commissioner’s Office is 0303 123 1113 or 01625 545745. The e-mail address is: [email address].

Dear Freedom of Information,

The information is exempt under Sec 14 (2)????
Do you think you can quote legislation that is not relevant in order to get away with supplying reqyested information.????

Section 14 of the FOI act states:
"14.—(2) Where a public authority has previously complied with a request for information which was made by any person, it is not obliged to comply with a subsequent identical or substantially similar request from that person unless a reasonable interval has elapsed between compliance with the
previous request and the making of the current request."

You have not complied with a request for information, you stated that security guards working in Knowlsey Council building were anonymous, despite them being aware of protected information given to them by KMBC. They were anonymous to you because they are also employed by Liverpool Council, you say.

Knowsley Council have a duty to supply the requested information, as I've said numerous times. You c cannot waive that duty onto somebody else, the security guards were in Knowsley working for Knowsley Council, and you are being very obstructive , whoever you are, anonymous again.

I still require ALL the information I have requested.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Woods
