FOR SHIREGREEN CEMETERY:

 3. Total number of graves on site?
We do not hold a figure for the total number of burial plots.  Most
information about burial plots is held as individual burial records in
ledgers dating back to the opening of the cemeteries and could not be
collated in under 18 hours. To search and gather the information would
take over the 18 hours we are obliged to spend collating information
for a Freedom of Information request.  In this case, to collate the
information would involve checking each individual burial record, of
which there are over 7000 records.  For this reason, the information
is exempt under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act –
exemption where cost of compliance exceeds appropriate limit
([1]http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000...).
 4. The total number of graves still available for interment:

 6. The number of renewals of exclusive rights of burial sold:
We cannot provide this information to you.  To search and gather the
information would take over the 18 hours we are obliged to spend
collating information for a Freedom of Information request.  In this
case, to collate the information would involve checking each
individual burial record, of which there are over 700 records.  For
this reason, the information is exempt under Section 12 of the Freedom
of Information Act – exemption where cost of compliance exceeds
appropriate limit
([2]http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000...).

compliance exceeds appropriate limit
([3]http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000...).
10. The number of pre-purchased Muslim adult lined graves sold:

See Q11.

11. The number of pre-purchased 2 interment graves sold:
We do not hold a figure for this for previous years (just 2019-20),
when our reporting process changed.  Please note also that the figure
includes ALL pre-purchased graves, as the records which are easily
accessible do not make a distinction between Muslim, graves for 2, and
graves for 3.  In relation to your request, we cannot provide
information prior to 2019-20.  To search and gather the information
would take over the 18 hours we are obliged to spend collating

In relation to your request, we cannot provide this information to
you.  To search and gather the information would take over the 18
hours we are obliged to spend collating information for a Freedom of
Information request.  In this case, to collate the information would

16. The operating cost for each of the cemeteries:
We don’t hold information about operating costs for individual
cemeteries.  Budgets for the cemeteries are held collectively for all
cemeteries and it is not possible to separate individual cemeteries
from the costs.

17. The number of staff employed at Shiregreen Cemetery
As above, teams work across multiple cemeteries and carry out work,
including burials, maintenance and administration as required at
each.  Therefore we do not hold the information specific to Shiregreen
Cemetery.
