Dear South Yorkshire Future Trams Limited,

I am writing to you (South Yorkshire Future Trams Limited) under the
Freedom Of Information Act 2000 and i would like to ask about your tram
audio automated announcements.

• Could you please attach the sound files for your Stadler Citylink (Tram
Train) trams. I have looked at other peoples FOI requests on the What Do
They Know site and have seen that you have already released some sound
files. But the sound files released seem to only be the Siemens Duewag
(Blue and Purple and Yellow) files. On the Stadler Citylink (Tram Train)
there is a different voice used for all lines (both on the tram train
route and when they are used on ordinary routes) and two additional stops
so there should be a separate set of files. I have checked through all of
the files and those ones do not seem to have been released.

• Could you please advise who the voiceover artist is of the Yellow route
trams. I have searched and managed to find out who three of the four
voiceover artists are. Jon Rand (Tram Train) and Gerard Fletcher (Blue)
and Melissa Sinden (Purple) are three of the voices. It is just the fourth
voice which is the female voice used for the Yellow route that i can not
find. If you could advise who the female voiceover artist used on the
Yellow route is that would be great. Also if you have the name of the
agency that was used for the recordings that would be helpful.

• Lastly can you please advise if you have any plans to install an
automated announcement system at your tram stops to advise passengers of
the next tram and when it is due. Currently your trams stops have no audio
announcements. So i would just like clarification as to whether there are
currently plans for such a thing and if so a timeframe.
