Dear Chris,

· What does the acronym ‘IM&T’ standfor? In Dorset Police IM stands for Information Management which is itself a separate department from IT.

Answer: IM&T - stands for Information Management & Technology. If possible the request is for a copy of the strategy for the force in the use of information enabled through effective use of IT.

· For question 2 are you seeking shared service agreements within the IT department or for Dorset Police as a whole?

Answer: Dorset Police as a whole. I am informed that Dorset collaborates with Devon as an example and I am keen to understand the landscape where Dorset uses shared services (ie where the processes followed and or the people providing the service are shared with other organisations)

Yours sincerely,

Liz Fawcitt
