Dear Mr Bartlett,

Your request is too broad and we are unable to respond to a request of this nature. The FOIA provides a right of access to recorded information held by the Council; your request makes no reference to recorded information in which you may be interested and is more in the nature of a very general enquiry.

I think you may find it helpful to run a search of the Council's social care information on the website in the first instance, which will assist you in framing a more specific request.

The Council's website is at: www.bournemouth.gov.uk If you run a search on, "Joint working with health" you will be able to locate a number of social care related documents that contain information about joint/partnership working. The plans and strategies are probably a good starting point.

If, following research of the information available on the website, you still require additional information please submit a new and better defined request for information.

Yours sincerely.

Dear Jeremy

Further to your request for information about Shared Services. In relation to your 1st question:

1)Do you currently have any shared services within Social Care with other Local Authorities within your area? this actually means do you or any neighbouring local authorities share services for social care needs adults and/or childrens? if yes please states with who.

Could you please be more specific about this question. Do you mean Shared Services where we are the provider of where we as a local authority commission services as they are two very different aspects.
