Shapefiles for Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monument
Dear Cadw: Welsh Historic Monuments,
Please could you provide me with an up to date shapefile of Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments in Wales.
I note that you have previously supplied this in response to an identical request a few years ago (see note below), so I presume that there are no issues with doing the same this time.
In your previous response, you mentioned that this data is publicly available on request. However, I have attempted to request it using the contact details on your website, with no response. Hence I am resorting to the FOI route, even though this should not be strictly necessary. I apologise in advance if this creates unnecessary work for your FOI department, but this could have been avoided had your public-facing contact been more on the ball.
For reference, the previous FOI request where you supplied this information in response can be found at:

Yours faithfully,
Mark Goodge

Just to clarify, they responded separately directly to my email address as they had that on file via other communication. Possibly not the most helpful in a WDTK context, but the information was provided promptly and in full.
If anyone else wants the data, it is available on their website, it's just not that well linked from the front page. You can get it here:
