Dear General Medical Council,

I am making this request under the FOIA.

Please provide the following information:
1) In 2013, you published the “Shape of Training” report. This included recommendations to move the point of full registration for home graduates to the point of graduation from medical school. Your report also advised that the work to do this could begin immediately.

1a) Please provide all data, reports, correspondence relating to the above matter and any work done/decisions made since 2013.

1b) You may instead answer this as correspondence (the question being: over a decade on, why has this change not yet occurred in spite of the timescale stating immediately?) if your assessment of the request 1a is too costly.
