Sexual violence in conflict

Waiting for an internal review by Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office of their handling of this request.

Dear Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office,

When Anthony Mangnall (Conservative, Totnes) asked about this issue, the answer concentrated on 'gender equality and advancing women and girls' rights'.

However, there are reports that sexual violence is committed against men and boys as much as - and sometimes more than - it is against women and girls.

What is the Department doing specifically to help male victims from sexual violence, and to assist male victims of this type of horror?

Yours faithfully,
Douglas Milnes.

Dear Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office's handling of my FOI request 'Sexual violence in conflict'.

This request has been outstanding for a considerable time and even given the excuse of Covid (sent in reply to my request on 5 March 2021) I should have had a substantive response by now.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...

Yours faithfully,

Douglas Milnes
