Individuals seeking help are encouraged to contact the police so that incidents can be properly and appropriately investigated.

Incidents on campus are not classified according to the Scottish crime recording standards as decisions on classification are necessarily taken by the appropriate authorities. As such, the numbers of particular types of crime are not held by the University (per S.17 of FoI(S)A).
