Severe Pollution incidents affecting River Crane catchment

We're waiting for E. Randall (Thames Anglers Conservancy) to read a recent response and update the status.

E. Randall (Thames Anglers Conservancy)

Dear Environment Agency,

Please could you provide details of all severe pollution incidents affecting the River Crane catchment since our previous similar FoI request NE34539JH made by Mr. D. Harvey in April 2013.

I am primarily interested in category 1 and 2 incidents plus any breaches of permit where discharge is permitted.

The catchment to include the Ickenham Stream, Yeading Brook (East and West), Frog's Ditch, Duke of Northumberland's River (both sections) and Longford River as well as the main river Crane itself.

Yours faithfully,

E. Randall (Thames Anglers Conservancy)

E. Randall (Thames Anglers Conservancy)

Dear Sadie / Enquiries Unit,
Thankyou for your swift response.
The area I'm interested in corrresponds to the catchment shown on the map at: http://www.cranevalley.org.uk/catchment/...
which would roughly be encompassed by a 4-sided polygon bounded by the following grid references:
North-East: TQ 13545 90823
South-East: TQ 18197 77273
South: TQ 15998 67892
West: TQ 04662 75293

A circle would start to include additional watercourses to the east and west but if that's easier,
radius 11.1km centred at Southall TQ 12849 79895 (lat, long: 51.507999,-0.375072) will cover it. You may exclude the River Thames, River Colne, Grand Union canal and any other canals from this.

Yours sincerely,
Ed Randall (Thames Anglers Conservancy)

E. Randall (Thames Anglers Conservancy)

Dear Diana,
I am interested in all category 1 and 2 incidents, plus any breaches of permit (where discharge is permitted) affecting the River Crane catchment since April 2013.

A spreadsheet extract from your NIRS database listing each incident should be sufficient, we were previously given the following columns:
UK_DATE
Category (Water)
NOT_ID
NOT_DATE
REGION_WM
AREA_WM
REGION_PF
AREA_PF
LOCATION
COUNTY
UNITARY
DISTRICT
EP_INC
SUB
STATUS
EIL_AIR
EIL_LAND
EIL_WATER
CAUSE_TYPE
CAUSE
PREM_TYPE
PREMISES
PREM_AGRI
POLL_TYPE
POLLUTANT
If a precise (lat, long) or grid-reference location is also available this would be very useful.
Also a brief summary of what action was taken as a result of each incident.

Yours faithfully,
Ed Randall (Thames Anglers Conservancy)
