I write further to your e-mail received by the Council on 16^th November
2016 where you made the following request for information.

 

The Council’s response to your request is as follows;

 

Request;

 

As part of a national project to map services for women experiencing
multiple disadvantage, I would like to request the following information
from your organisation:

When does the current contract end?.

 

Response:

 

Bury Council currently commission specific housing related support
services for women under the following service contracts-

 

Service Commissioned- Floating Support for women who are victims of
domestic violence to prevent homelessness

 

Provider – Women’s Housing Action Group (WHAG)

Rose Court, 679 Manchester Road, Castleton, Rochdale OL11 3AA

 

Support - Weekly floating support for up to a year for a  minimum of 52 to
a maximum of 56 women

 

Contract end date - 31^st March 2017.

 

Service Commissioned- Accommodation based support for young mothers with
babies to prevent homelessness

 

Provider – Great Places

119, Union Street, Oldham, OL1 1TE.

 

Support up to 2 years for women who are pregnant or have babies and are
accommodated in 12 self contained flats

 

Contract end date - 31^st March 2017
