Dear Leicester City Council,
Could you answer the following questions please.
1. How many complaints has children's social services have you received from parents in 2022, 2023 and 2024 using the [email address] process. Could I have a month by month breakdown please.
2. How many professionals have put in an official complaint to children's social services in 2022, 2023, 2024. Can I have a month by month breakdown please.
3. How many stage 1 complaints have been raised in 2023 and 2024? Month by month breakdown please.
4. How many complaints were then escalated to stage 2 complaints in 2023 and 2024? Month by month breakdown please.
5. How many complaints were then escalated to stage 3 complaints in 2023 and 2024? Month by month breakdown please.
6. Who /which body overlooks children's social care to ensure it maintains quality and follows procedure
7. How does the council deal with service failures once identified
8. How does the council manage to maintain quality and accountability of it's agency social workers?
9. Agency social workers lead to more social worker changes and less continuity for families who's children are part of a CIN/CPP plan. After how many social worker changes to one family would it take for a manager to take action to ensure continuity and building trust between families and social workers.
Thanks
Yours faithfully,
N Patel
