As I understand it you are seeking to know:
A. Please state the number of residential homes owned by the Council and
the percentage owned by leaseholders.
As at 31 December 2017 there were 3272 leaseholders and 9,828 residential
properties making a total of 13100. The % of leaseholders of the overall
total is 24.98%.
B. Please state the method of apportioning service charges - whether
by number of units, square footage, rateable value or by any other
method for:
1. General service charges - Apportionment is based upon rateable value.
2. Major works - Apportionment is based upon rateable value.
