Dear S. Chapman

Re: Freedom of Information Act 2000

Thank you for your request for information held by London Borough of
Lewisham. I have included below a copy of your request, followed by the
Council’s response next to each heading.

Social housing in Lewisham is managed on the Council’s behalf by Lewisham
Homes and Regeneter B3.

Their contact email is: [1][email address].

The information for properties managed on the Council’s behalf by Regenter
B3 is outlined below:

Please state the number of residential homes owned by the Council and the
percentage owned by leaseholders.

The number of residential homes which Regenter B3 manage on behalf of LB
Lewisham are 1832. Of that total there are 557 leasehold properties that
we manage.

Please state the method of apportioning service charges - whether by
number of units, square footage, rateable value or by any other method
for:

1. General service charges
2. Major works

All service charges and major works are apportioned by equal share of
units in a block, i.e. if there are 4 flats in a block the service charge
and major work total is divided by 4 flats.
