Dear Hackney Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Hackney Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Service ChargeS

I made my request on 31 January which was only partially answered on 27/February. I replied requesting the missing information on the number of council owned residential homes and the number owned by leaseholders.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...

Yours faithfully,

S Chapman

hackney@infreemation.co.uk,

Dear S Chapman,

We can now confirm the following:

The last numbers published are: 21,784 housing stock, with additional
9,101 leaseholders and freeholders who pay service charge. This gives a
total of 30885, 29.5% of which are leaseholders/freeholders with service
charge.

Once again we apologise for failing to answer this part of the question
before and for the long delay in fulfilling this internal review.

Kind regards

Katharine
