As part of your trusts clinical response to emergency department sepsis presentations; could you clarify whether antibiotics are administered under Patient group directives (PGD) or prescription only?
Could you also please provide me a copy of your emergency department Sepsis proforma/flowchart/toolkit.

merged with West Middlesex University Hospital in September 2015, for this
reason our response covers both sites.

Our response:

As part of your trusts clinical response to emergency department sepsis
presentations; could you clarify whether antibiotics are administered
under Patient group directives (PGD) or prescription only?

Could you also please provide me a copy of your emergency department
Sepsis proforma/flowchart/toolkit.

 

Please note that antibiotics are administered by prescription only. There
are no Patient Group directives for antibiotics.
