I am writing to confirm that the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust has now
completed its search for the information which you requested on 21^st
September 2017:

 

As part of your trusts clinical response to emergency department sepsis
presentations; could you clarify whether antibiotics are administered
under Patient group directives (PGD) or prescription only?

It is provided under both, the proforma is a Trust one available on The
Pink Book (an online, clinical information resource for hospital staff,
GPs and community clinicians), of which a copy is attached. Prompting via
our e-Care electronic system is now also in use.

 

Could you also please provide me a copy of your emergency department
Sepsis proforma/flowchart/toolkit. - Please see attached guideline
