Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

According to reports in the Guardian - which the BBC has not denied - about 540 senior BBC managers receive £2.9m per year for car allowances.

Can you please provide a breakdown of how much of this total is spent annually by each division - including News (not ER), English Regions, World Service and Monitoring divisions.

Yours faithfully,

Spencer Count
