Senior Management Team under investigation
Dear Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education,
I would like to request, under the Freedom of Information Act, details of any members of your Senior Management Team that are currently or have recently been under investigation, either internally or externally, for any reason, full details and findings of the investigations please.
I would also like details of any court appearances or requests to attend court directed at your SMT for the period between 2006 to date - some areas of interests are tax issues, sexual discrimination or alligations from female members of staff or other staff related legal issues, full details of the appearance or request, also findings of the courts please.

Following on from my request and the point that Mr Cant has raised.
In order to prevent any clash with the data protection act, I would like to clarify, that I have not asked for any information that is clearly identifiable to a living person, i.e. name or sex.
Due to the fact that you have more than 9 people listed in your published management board, there should be very little chance to identify any one person to the any listed investigation as highlighted in the response to my request.

Un-official investigations of corruption and similar investigations wont be reported.

I can assure you that no members of our Senior Management Team have been
or are subject to any disciplinary investigation.
In relation to your second request, no members of the same SMT have been
in court or have been directed to any court proceedings for any work
related matters in the period you mention.

Most people in Grimsby know the names of at least two of the four people suspended (one senior manager) who were suspended in the same week as Peter Barnard denies that any were.
And most people in the town are aware of serious allegations against a very senior manager.

Yes lots of people now about the reasons for this. ALEDGEDLY ( company cars, ). Whats interesting is why did these people get the cars, mmm be quite payments to not notice property irregularity so am told

In light of recent revelations by the Employment Tribunal Services in respect of an ongoing sexual harassment allegation against a senior member of Grimsby Institute staff surely Peter Barnard was being economical with the truth on January 26

It would be interesting to know how many people had left in the last 12 months with a compromise agreement and gagging payments. Good way to cover things up and spend our taxes !!!

For how to deal with these type of claims, se NELC ( council ) and how we paid for this to be dealt with in respect of our previous chief exec, no ware in the business world do payoffs like this get done.
Sounded more like a convenient way to get rid of the last chief by the unelected without telling the public how much money they are paying out for it.
