 Thank you for your request of 13 September 2023 in which you asked for
the following information, please find our response below in bold:

 

Please confirm the current size of your SEND/high needs deficit? Please
use the most recent figure you have available even if this is from the
previous financial year.

 

The cumulative deficit on High Needs at the end of 2022-23 was £41.1m.

The in-year budgeted deficit in 2023-24 is £18.3m.
