I can confirm that the information you requested is held by London Borough of 
Hammersmith and Fulham. However, we’re unable to provide some of information as 
we estimate that compliance with some of the questions would exceed the appropriate 
costs limit under section 12 of the Freedom of information Act 2000.  
 
 
Your Questions: 
 
For each of the last six years, please provide the following information broken down by 
school:  
Q1. A list of private schools located both inside and outside the London Borough of 
Hammersmith and Fulham, that have received SEN funding from the council for 
students residing in the borough.  
Q2. The number of borough-resident students at each listed school who have received 
SEN funding.  
Q3. The total amount of SEN funding allocated by the council to each of these schools 
annually. 
  
 
Our Answers: 
 
A1. & A3. We do not have the 2018-19 data, but please see below the table for the last 
5 years. 
 
A2. Exempt under Section 12 as we do not record this data; and would have to search 
all our case files for the requested data on who currently attends an independent 
school, and for each case whether they have been attending that setting in each of the 
last six years; also cases who may have previously attended an independent school in 
the last 6 years but don't currently do so and also any cases who no longer live in the 
borough.
