!Freedom of Information,

Dear Mr Lo,

Following your FOI Request being received, in regards to the following
question "How many raids have been carried out by Surrey Police in 2013
and what illegal items have been seized", I have made enquiries about
gaining the relevant data for you. However in order for this to continue I
require you to clarify a specific part of your request as follows:-
The term raid is not a word that is used by the Police and therefore at
present in response to your request there will be no information
recorded/held. Therefore if you still wish to continue with this request
could please clarify what information you are specifically looking for.
For example please provide the types of offence to focus on types of
search warrants and there execution. Please note - warrants could be
issued for a number of situations so this would also affect any searches.
If you could please let me know your specifications I will continue
carrying out your request.
Please note - I will put your request on hold until I receive a response.
If however 2 weeks pass and no response is received I shall class the
request as closed.

Dear Robert Scott.

Thanks for your reply. I would like to know about searches that took place on people suspected of possesing illegal weapons. I would like to know what illegal weapons were found and, if possible, where the search took place and the name of anyone arrested in connection with these searches.

I would like this to include both searches on premises and on individuals in the street.

Yours sincerely,

Joe Lo
