Fire alarm
Fire Extinguishers
Access control
CCTV
Mobile patrol response/keyholding services.
Could you please confirm:
1. You have maintenance and service contracts in place for all of the above
2. Who provides the services for you
3. Approximate annual value of each service
4. When these were last tendered
5. When they will be next tendered
6. Which tender portal you use to select suppliers
7. Is the tender process carried out in accordance with OJEC requirements

Dear Mr Tapper

 

I write in connection with your request for information dated 24^th
February concerning your freedom of information request.

 

I regret to inform you that Avon and Somerset Constabulary have not been
able to complete its response to your request by the date originally
stated. 

 

I now advise you that the amended date for a response is no later than
21^st April.  This is due to consideration being given to the application
of a qualified exemption concerning commercial interests, and as such will
require further consideration regarding the public interest test.  I can
assure you that every effort will be made to ensure an appropriate
response will be made within this new timescale.

*We procure this service from a national framework (ESPO). The current
contract has an expiry date of January 2018 but with an option to extend
until January 2010. The decision will be taken by ESPO and Avon and
Somerset Constabulary will at that time take a view as to whether to use
the Framework or pursue an alternative supply route.
