Sectoral analysis #17 "Defence

Mark Edwards made this Freedom of Information request to Ministry of Defence

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Ministry of Defence should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear MoD FOI Team

In his response to Baroness Verma (30/10/2017), Davis confirms in Appendix A that sectoral analysis no. 17 concerns trade in defence-related goods. I therefore request the release of this report under the FOI Act.

There is overwhelming public interest grounds for release of this information, in that it informs the public regarding both the anticipated outcomes of the UK leaving the EU & the concerning the government's preparedness.

Possible exemptions under S.12 (time to collate - the report already exists) & other sections are clearly covered in that Davis has stated the reports do not include "commercially, market and negotiation-sensitive information"

Yours faithfully,
Mark Edwards
