TVCA Governance, Tees Valley Combined Authority

Dear Jared Rubecki,

Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Ref: 184-2023

Thank you for your correspondence received on 24/07/2023. In response to your request, we can now provide the following information.

You asked:
Please provide a list of all grants committed by Tees Valley Combined Authority since 1 April 2020 on the basis of Section 31 of the Local Government Act.

Our response:
Processing all information relevant to your request would exceed the appropriate limit under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, which permits the authority to refuse the entire request if the appropriate limit is exceeded by any element of the request. Under Section 16 TVCA is required to provide advice and assistance to help you refine your request so that it may be answered within the appropriate limit such you wish to submit a new request.

Your request exceeds the appropriate limit by a significant number of hours. Our suggestion is that a fully refined request with a much higher degree of specificity would fall within the appropriate limit.

If you have any queries or concerns please contact [email address] in the first instance.

However, if you are unhappy with the way your request for information has been handled, you may request an internal review within 40 working days by writing to:

Group Chief Executive, Tees Valley Combined Authority, Teesside Airport Business Suite, Teesside International Airport, Darlington. DL2 1NJ.

If, after your complaint has been determined, you remain dissatisfied with the handling of your request or complaint, you have a right to appeal to the Information Commissioner at:

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
Wycliffe House, Water Lane
Wilmslow
Cheshire
SK9 5AF

Telephone: 0303 123 1113
Website: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/

The ICO does not make a charge for an appeal.
