REQUEST:-

 

Dear Chorley Borough Council,

 

Please could you provide me with a register for all HMO properties
licensed under Section 257 of the HMO Licensing Act?

 

 

RESPONSE:-

“Section 257 of the Housing Act 2004 relates to dwellings converted as
self-contained flats and unfortunately they are not licensable by the
Council. Unfortunately therefore we do not hold the information
requested.”

 

 

 

I hope the information provided here answers your enquiry.  If however,
you are unhappy with the outcome, or the way in which Chorley Council has
handled your request, you may wish to make an appeal.  This can be done in
writing to the Director of Governance, Chorley Council, Town Hall, Market
